Zyliss World Food Festival Kitchen Products

I'm on a few product review sites, one of which is The Insiders. When they offered me a Zyliss kitchen goodie bundle at a crazy reduced price there was no way I was going to say no.
They sent a haul of goodies and I've now been using them for about a month.
Conclusion: I love them!

My favourites from opening the box were the knives and the pans.

I'm not sure I've ever had a really good set of knives and these are amazing, they came in an awesome knife block which sits proudly on my kitchen side and they are so sharp. I've never come across a sharp bread knife before so thought nothing of cutting a scone towards by hand until I found 2 very straight cuts on my palm where the teeth of the knife had sliced my skin, I hadn't even noticed it happen!

The pans look like stoneware, work on all hobs (including induction) and really are non-stick. I have bought so many pans over the last 10 years which claimed to be non-stick which would be ruined within a month but I can't see that happening this time, especially with a 10 year guarantee. Plus essentially for me they are dishwasher safe, in my house if it's not dishwasher safe it's not going to get used (with the exception of the soup maker).

I used the Zyliss Zick-Zick Classic Food Chopper today for the first time when making spaghetti bolognese with Roo (now 4), after I made the first couple of presses she was able to do the rest and finely chop our mushrooms and onions. After Roo and I used this with so much ease I immediately recommended it to my favourite girls in the Fibro & Pain Pals Facebook group, so many of them suffer with small movements and chopping veg is one of the worst culprits, I think this could help them out and I was happy to let them know.

Another tool we've had a lot of use out of so far is the Smoothglide Dual Grater. There's not a huge amount I can say about this because at the end of the day, it's a grater, it grates. My husband things the cheese looks "fancy" when it's been grated with this because it curls slightly, but I think that's just odd. One good thing about it is it's much smaller than a traditional grater and in our teeny kitchen anything which saves space is appreciated.

I will come back with more to say on other things soon, I just want to make sure I give everything a fair go before giving an opinion. Just because I got it cheap doesn't mean I'm going to be positive 100% of the time.

I received the products at a heavily discounted price from Zyliss via the Insiders but all views are my own.
